Located in Canterbury's well-drained alluvial plains, this Chardonnay vine is over 25 years old and produces fruit of greater strength and depth. The wine was aged in French oak and shows citrus, white peach and lychee aromas. The palate is dominated by main fruit with texture, earthy notes, subtle creaminess and hints of vanilla and nutty oak. The stony acidity of citrus mineralization gives the structure a refreshing length.
