From the outstanding 2013 vintage, this Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon blend was hand-crafted from premium grapes grown on the free draining gravel soils in sunny Hawke's Bay. This wine was fermented in small vats, basket pressed and matured in oak barrels. An enticing nose with aromas of dark plums and spice with touches of leather. The palate is rich and powerful with fine tannins. Enjoy now or cellar carefully for 10 to 12 years.
